Brazilian lymphatic drainage is a full-body lymphatic massage with a sculpting, contouring focus. How it is different from regular lymphatic drainage

Classic lymphatic drainage is very light and slow. It is our go-to after surgery, when tissue is tender and healing.

Brazilian lymphatic drainage uses rhythmic, pumping and sculpting movements with a bit more pressure. It is aimed at everyday wellness: that heavy, swollen or bloated feeling.

What to expect

Your RMT will ask about your health and goals first. The massage moves in a set order to guide fluid toward the lymph nodes, with focused work on the abdomen and legs. You will be draped with a sheet as in any massage. Many people notice they feel lighter right after a session; results vary from person to person, and a short series usually works better than a single visit.

How many sessions will I need?

Some people come once for a reset. For a longer-lasting effect, many book a series of weekly sessions, which is why we offer a 5-session package.

Can I book this after cosmetic surgery?

Only with your surgeon’s clearance. In the first weeks after surgery we usually recommend our gentler classic lymphatic drainage instead.

What should I do before and after?

Eat lightly beforehand. Afterward, drink water and keep moving gently. Read our general massage FAQ.

Brazilian lymphatic drainage is not suitable for everyone. Please do not book if you have an active infection, a fever, open wounds or a recent surgical incision. If you are pregnant, have a blood clot or a history of clots, heart or kidney problems, or cancer, please check with your doctor first.
